Located in Beautiful Cache Valley Utah, QFI is a licensed home inspector through InterNACHI (International Association of Certified Home Inspections) and is able to inspect all residential homes.  We provide this service to make the move less stressful and help eliminate any concerns regarding the integrity of your investment.

Experience:

Starting in 2017, I have over 30 years of construction, cement, electrical and plumbing experience. We are a fair and balanced inspection company who have both the buyer and the seller's best-interest in mind.  

What to Expect:

Homes being purchased are "used" and will have some minor defects.  Those minor defects will be noted on our report for you to be aware of.  Any major defects with any of the systems (i.e. electrical, plumbing, roof and etc...) will be photographed and noted in the report.

Products:

Home Inspections that include the following areas:

• Cement Work: Driveways, sidewalks, garage floors, foundation and footings.
• Exterior of home:  Roof, siding, door frames/brick moldings, balcony, slope of lot, basement entries, chimney, flashing, utility vents, soffets, fascia, rain gutters and down spouts, insect intrusions.
•  Garage: Garage Door functionality and safety features.
•  Basements: Water damage, walls, floors, ceilings, bedrooms, laundry rooms, bathrooms, smoke/Carbon Dioxide detectors, water softener (if equipped), electrical and plumbing.
• Main Level: Kitchen and all included appliances, plumbing, electrical, ceilings, walls and floors, bedrooms and bathrooms.  
  
• Attic: Rafter Structure, ventilation, insulation type and amount, leaks, decking, all roof penetrations (chimney, plumbing vents, water heater and furnace vents)
• Electrical: GFCI, polarity, integrity of switches and outlets, dead front (panel), all breakers are properly wired, grounded and bonded.
• Plumbing: No leaks, proper pressure, free-flowing drains, water heaters
• Fireplace: Proper venting (chimney construction and materials), damper operation, proper cap/covering on exterior, proper clearances in attic, no cracks in crown.
• Inspection Report:  All areas included here plus others we find will be included on a easy to understand report with photographs with our signature.  You can rest assured that every system in your house has been examined and tested for it's integrity. 
• Other Services: Radon and Carbon Monoxide testing and Mold for an additional cost.

Pricing:

• For mobile home up to 1,700 Square feet: $275
• 1,800 - 2,400 square feet: $325
• 2,500 - 4,000 square feet: $400
• 4,100 square feet and up, call for estimate
• Outbuildings (barns, other homes) call for estimate
